Alison attained a diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences and worked in the NHS as a Medicines Management Technician, working alongside GPs and Nurses ensuring compliant prescribing and support with audits. She also achieved significant savings and efficiencies for the NHS whilst project managing a city-wide Community Dressings project.
Joining NHS Supply Chain as an Implementation Coordinator in 2012 Alison provided support to the Sales team through customer training, implementing new products into the NHS, and working collaboratively with stakeholders ensuring a smooth implementation. She was promoted to Account Manager for the Northwest driving several high-value opportunities across the region and establishing successful relationships with Heads of Procurement, Category Managers, and KOL Clinicians.
Being driven to explore more senior roles Alison took a position with Molnlycke Healthcare in 2019 as their Strategic Relationship Manager in the Wound Care Division where she was quickly promoted to Regional Business Manager, working closely with Tissue Viability Nurses and other Senior Healthcare professionals.
Alison is passionate about the NHS and improving patient care and joined GS Medical in 2022 with the goal of helping to grow our portfolio by ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care through high-quality innovative solutions, at the same time supporting the NHS to achieve their savings targets.
When she does get some spare time Alison loves nothing more than getting muddy with a rugby ball and also enjoys running (sometimes)!
