Barry joined GSM in 2021 with an agenda of growth and innovation to sit on the strong foundations of GSM’s customer & partner relationship ethos.
Barry and John were colleagues in J&J for over a decade and forged a strong personal and professional bond.
Deploying prior R&D experience with Boston Scientific with a decade of commercial leadership with J&J, Barry founded Medical Device Start-Up Business neoSurgical in 2008. neoSurgical operated in the Laparoscopic/MIS space. Its marque product neoClose* is a global pioneer in Laparoscopic Absorbable Port Closure. Now scaled up commercially in the USA and recently acquired. (Sharp Fluidics Inc.)
Barry has operated a consultancy business, OvOMED Partners, where he has supported medical businesses in General Management, Strategic Planning, M&A, Start-Up support & advisory. He has experience across a multitude of medical business segments & regions.
